At a first glance, this species suggests an

because of its strongly punctured clypeus, upturned lamella along anterior margin of pronotum and relatively bulging dorsolateral lobes of pronotal collar. However, presence of only one subapical tooth in the mandibles, its wide frons, the rounded contour of area between vertex and occiput, lack of subapical teeth on female mid tibia and lack of depressions or rugosity on metapostnotum clearly exclude it from

: predominantly reddish yellow, except for dark reddish brown claws and apical third of mandibles and for reddish brown distal half of flagella. Wing veins brown, pterostigma brownish yellow, membrane hyaline, except for light brownish infuscate apical portion.

: mostly pale yellow, except for reddish yellow setae on legs and metasoma and brown setae covering wing membrane and veins. Dense and finely plumose on labrum, frons (except on supraclypeal area and above antennal sockets), gena, mesoscutum, scutellum, metanotum and upper half of mesepisternum laterally. Clypeus without decumbent, plumose setae. Conspicuously dense on posterior half of vertex. Disc of mesoscutum uniformly covered with short, dense and finely plumose, erect setae. Longest setae on scutellum about 1.3
