The new genus differs from all other genera of
<taxonomicName authorityName="Lehtinen" authorityYear="1967" family="Agelenidae" kingdom="Animalia" lsidName="" order="Araneae" pageId="0" pageNumber="31" rank="tribe" tribe="Textricini">Textricini</taxonomicName>
by having a strongly modified male palpal femur with two outgrowths and two bulges (vs one or none), presence of the palpal prolateral tibial apophysis (
<emphasis italics="true" pageId="0" pageNumber="31">Pt</emphasis>
) and the cymbial prolateral fold (
<emphasis italics="true" pageId="0" pageNumber="31">Cf</emphasis>
) (vs lacking), the straight mesal part of the embolic base (vs round) (cf. Figs
