from the Sublette Collection, located at the University of Minnesota, St. Paul, MN. The specimens were all excessively squashed (typical of Sasa mounts) and the quadrangular plate was apparent. I then remounted the abdomen/genitalia of one of the Zurquí
<emphasis id="B93FEF4F3D78B927120C69DBFAF3FB85" box="[1288,1318,1011,1034]" italics="true" pageId="3" pageNumber="7">M.</emphasis>
sp. ZUR-
<specimenCount id="9D4DF8D43D78B92714736E3AFC28FBA5" box="[887,1021,1042,1066]" pageId="3" pageNumber="7" type="generic">2 specimens</specimenCount>
and excessively squashed it the quadrangular plate appeared! This plate is normally oriented in a dorsal-ventral manner and is visible as a thin sclerotized line when viewed in a typical genitalia mount that has not been excessively flattened. The structure may represent the aedeagus or an ejaculator (see
