. Eyes deeply emarginate. Head with slender longitudinal carinae, which are parallel or slightly converging towards the vertex. Sides of pronotum not or only slightly sinuate, slightly angulate in males, rounded or weakly angulate in females. Elytral apex in males with a fringe of long setae (setae as long as antennomere 11), which can be tucked under the elytra and may not be visible without removal of the abdomen. Aedeagus as in
