Irregular mass sponge, size up to 14 × 7 ×

, surface, strong collagenous filamentous membrane and covered with low distinct conules. Skeletal fibres attached to filamentous membrane at near surface irregularly. Oscules,

in diameter, rare, only at the side surface. Colour in life ivory and pale grey. Texture elastic and compressible.

Filaments, sometimes divided into two branches, 1-2 μm in diameter, terminal knobs, very indistinct, 3 μm in diameter.</paragraph>
