Specimens from New Brunswick were sifted from moss and leaves under alders near a brook in an old-growth eastern white cedar swamp and from wet moss on the margin of a small, shaded, spring-fed brook in a white spruce and balsam fir forest. The adults were collected during May and August. Elsewhere, this species has been collected from June to October.
