</taxonomicName>
: no digits at the outer edge of the protibia, narrow lateral margin of the pronotum, sides of the pronotum evenly curved from anterior to posterior angles and asymmetric aedeagus with lateral opening. In contrast to Fagel’s describtion, the species with short apical digits at the outer edge of the protibia are also placed into this group. All species have a setiferous punctation. The size ranges from small to very large species.
