Cave, Sutton Co[unty], Texas&quot; (original citation). Holotype (♂) in USNM [# 75388]. Etymology. The specific name was proposed in honor of Orville Gorman Babcock [1885-1973] who collected some of the paratypes. Babcock was an entomologist who worked with the USDA on animal insect parasites.
