Shell large, fusiform; greatest width on last whorl. Teleoconch sculptured by regularly distributed, well-marked coarse ribs; distance between ribs equal to rib width. Aperture drop-shaped, vertically elongated; no apparent callus. Peristome simple, but slightly thickened on columellar region. Umbilicus imperforated.
