mais peut certainement dépasser cette taille. La consistance est très dure. Les zoïdes sont disposés en systèmes circulaires qui dessinent en surface une sorte de pavage (

). Les orifices des cloaques communs ne sont pas plus grands que les orifices buccaux. Les spicules sont très denses dans la partie superficielle et basale de la tunique, un peu moins au niveau des zoïdes. La tunique est très difficile à déchirer.

<paragraph id="474C41173B185C0CEBDAFC3EFD8CC31F" blockId="2.[111,649,533,1700]" pageId="2" pageNumber="801">Les zoïdes sont disposés en une seule couche, perpendiculaire à la surface des colonies. Le siphon buccal est cylindrique, sa bordure a 6 petits lobes. Le siphon cloacal est extrêmement long, issu du milieu du thorax, bordé de 6 denticules. Il possède un velum interne terminal. Les siphons cloacaux dun même système se rejoignent en une cavité cloacale commune très petite, presque inexistante, constituée dun simple trou. Cette absence despace cloacal contribue à la rigidité des colonies.</paragraph>

Les organes thoraciques latéraux sont placés audessus du quatrième rang de stigmates. La branchie possède 4rangs avec 20 stigmates de chaque côté dans le premier rang. Les rangs de stigmates sont groupés deux par deux dans les thorax jeunes (
