. La surface est lisse, marquée dun réseau complexe de «veines » transparentes entre des îlots de zoïdes dont les orifices buccaux sont entourés dun pigment blanc. La surface des colonies est résistante et contraste avec la tunique interne molle.

) est fortement marqué par 20 plis longitudinaux ininterrompus. Le post-estomac est mince suivi dun intestin moyen élargi qui forme le fond de la boucle digestive. Lintestin postérieur débute avec 2 caeca. Le post-abdomen est très long (

). Lovaire se situe à quelque distance de labdomen suivi par une rangée de lobes testiculaires qui natteint pas lextrémité cardiaque.

) sont incubées dans la cavité péri-branchiale, une seule à la fois atteint la maturité. Le tronc, allongé, mesure 0,65 mm et la queue décrit trois quarts de tour. Les 3 papilles adhésives alternent avec 4 vésicules dont les 2 médianes sont particulièrement longues. Une couronne de 2 rangs irréguliers de vésicules entoure la base des papilles adhésives. Ocelle et otolithe sont présents.
