), and the mediuncus and dorsal horns tended to evert, thus distorting the shape of the gonocornua. The variation shown by teneral males is visible on images on our project website at http://morphobank.geongrid.org/permalink/?F15. Teneral females had delicate bursa, and many of their internal membranous structures were difficult to identify. Among our specimens, there was considerable variation in the size and darkness of the brownish-red markings on the thorax and abdomen. It is possible that this variation reflects both individual variation and the degree of maturation.
