brownish-pink to salmon in color, thickly encrusting, without oscular tubes and without tangential ectosomal reticulation. The ectosomal skeleton is absent and the surface is thin, translucent and pierced by abundant pores, clearly visible in LM. The choanosomal skeleton is a uni- to paucispicular, ladder-like reticulation of oxeas with low spongin, more organized near the sponge surface and denser and more disorganized, sub-halichondrioid in the interior of the sponge. Oxeas fusiform, acerate, 86124 µm in length. Microscleres absent.
