Dorsal shield entire, with lateral incisions transversely. The dorsal shield is divided into two subdorsal shields in some of the species. The metaseternal shields are rectangular, elongated, and are closer to the posterior margin of sternal shield. The genital shield is usually separated to a ventral shield by an incomplete suture.
