This newly established group includes species that share the following male characters: the antennomere VIII strongly curved, with strongly concave mesal margin and strongly projected mesal proximal corner, mesal distal corner weakly projected; antennomere IX shorter than VIII and weakly modified, with nearly straight mesal margin and slightly projected mesal distal corner; median lobe of aedeagus with lateral rows of dorsal setae; dorsal apical plate of median lobe with subtrapezoidal, narrowly truncate apex; endophallus simple, with one or two sclerites. Four species are known to inhabit areas surrounding the Sea of
