The genus

was recently described by Crawley. He noted the general resemblance of the workers to those of the genus
<taxonomicName id="36F2827D98A5AD5855E041A24D85476C" class="Insecta" family="Formicidae" genus="Podomyrma" kingdom="Animalia" order="Hymenoptera" phylum="Arthropoda" rank="genus">Podomyrma</taxonomicName>
. While the workers are similar in genera] appearance the females are very different, as will bе seen from the following description and figures.

<paragraph id="27A1C7B44C8E27B44099D004C731FB69">The remaining species belong to genera which have already been dealt with by me in the Journal of this Society.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="A1F9B2274D0F0087B2FA2EA2BF22AEFA">The types of the new species are at present in the author's collection.</paragraph>
