This species is very closely related to

, with the same coloration of abdomen and fore wing, ocellar setae I present, abdominal tergite II with four lateral marginal setae. However, it is distinguished by posterior margin of tergites VVII without microtrichia laterally, metascutum with median pair of setae near anterior margin (Wang 1999,
