); antennal pedicel small, cylindrical; ocelli prominent, on margin of face and crown; rostrum with short 3rd segment, reaching middle coxae. Crown with lateral margins diverging anteriorly with weak median carina. Pronotum without carinae, anterior margin convex; posterior margin concave. Mesonotum large, with scutellum well separated by transverse depression; disk of pronotum separated by carina from its lateral parts (paranotal lobes). Forewings elongate, with five apical and three anteapical cells, outer one closed; appendix well developed. Hind femora with 2 + 2 macrosetae apically. First metatarsomere as long as second and third ones combined. First metatarsomere with 2 + 1 macrosetae dorsally two apically and one laterally.
