Body broadly elliptical, 1.54–1.72 (1.66) times as long as its width. Colour of living specimens unknown. Cleared specimens very light, almost not sclerotized, only with brown tarsi and the distal third of siphunculi and light-brown 5th and apices of 4th antennal segments, subgenital plate, and cauda. Numbers of marginal setae 0–1, 1–2, 1–3, 1–2, 1–3, 1–3 and 1 on each side of abdominal segments I–VII, respectively. Head with epicranial coronal suture or with traces of epicranial coronal suture. Antennae 5-segmented. Rostrum reaching mesothorax. Setae on subgenital plate blunt, pointed or finely pointed.

Cleared specimens very light, almost not sclerotized, only with light-brown 6th antennal segments, two last segments of rostrum, hind tibia, anal plate, cauda, and sometimes apices of 5th antennal segments, and with brown tarsi, siphunculi or only apices of siphunculi and lobes of subgenital plates. Thorax and abdominal dorsum without any sclerotized bands, sclerites and maculae. Surface of dorsal side of head weakly reticulate, of thorax and abdominal tergites I–VI smooth with very rare spinules, of abdominal tergites VII–VIII with the long rows of small pointed spinules; surface of ventral side of abdomen with long rows of small pointed spinules. Setae on dorsal surface of thorax and abdominal tergites I–VII blunt, pointed or very weakly capitate, on abdominal tergite VIII and ventral surface of thorax and abdomen finely pointed; numbers of marginal setae 1–2, 1–3, 1–3, 1–3, 2, 1–2 and 1–2 on each side of abdominal segments I–VII, respectively. Marginal tubercles strongly protuberant from elongated semicircular up to papilliform, diameter of tubercles 0.7–1.7 times as long as high. Head with or without traces of epicranial coronal suture. Frontal tubercles not high, but distinctly marked, median tubercle rounded. Occipital and frontal setae on head blunt and pointed, setae on ventral side of head—blunt, pointed or finely pointed.
