Dahlbom realized that this specimen does not have an &quot;exotic&quot; habitus (Bengala was the old name of a district between NW India and Bangladesh) and

the type locality as &quot;forte Bengalia&quot; [accidentally Bengalia for Bengala]. The species is distributed in North Africa and Near East (

: 218). The type is missing the ventral surface of the metasoma, due to a dermestid attack. It belongs to the
