Body size 35 × 15 μm in protargol preparations; body fusiform, anterior and posterior body ends narrowly rounded. Macronuclear nodule spherical to elliptical, positioned at posterior half­body. Contractile vacuole at posterior body end. Cytoplasm colorless. Usually 10 somatic kineties, composed of dikinetid; spiraled. Extrusomes recognized in protargol preparation; along with somatic kineties. Feeding tube distinct, positioned at anterior body end. Paroral membrane semicircular.
