This species is distinguished by the elytral disc convex; declivital summit armed by three denticles along interstriae 2; declivital interstriae 3, 5, and 6 bearing a uniseriate row of denticles along its length; interstrial setae minute, strongly confused, recumbent, as long as length between setae; and bicolored elytra and pronotum that are darker at the apical areas.
