Length 3 1/2- lines.-Opake-black: head large, wider than the thorax, slightly emarginate behind; the scape ferruginous at the base; the clypeus subcarinate, its anterior margin rounded; the mandibles armed with five acute teeth. Thorax oblong, slightly narrowed behind; the two apical joints of the tarsi ferruginous; the head and thorax thinly sprinkled with pale yellow hairs. Abdomen ovate, clothed with short glittering yellow hairs.</paragraph>
