Body black; width of head, including mandibles, subequal to that of pronotum and elytra. Head black; mandibles incurved along apical 1/3; major inner mandibular tooth undeveloped, mandibles each with 5–6 small inner mandibular teeth; apical mandibular fork weakly developed, narrowly open anteriorly; upper and lower branches of apical fork subequal in length; lateral ridges of head subparallel, weakly rounded, evenly convex apically; clypeolabrum weakly developed, trapezoidal, labrum triangular, single-pointed at middle. Pronotum brownish or black, concolorous with head; straight at apex and basal 1/3, weakly rounded at middle; subequal in width to that of head and mandibles; prothoracic tibiae brownish, each bearing five weakly developed spines from apex to midlength; mesothoracic tibiae black, each bearing 2–4 spines at midlength; metathoracic tibiae bright yellowish with black apex, each bearing two significant spines along basal 1/3. Elytra black; oval, widest at apical 1/3, strongly narrowing along basal 1/3. Genitalia. Basal piece usually well defined, 0.4× length of entire aedeagus; apical flagellum enlarged, flagellum 0.4× length of aedeagus; aedeagus slender, incurved along basal 1/3, triangular distally.</paragraph>

Natural History. Adult flight apparently takes place during mid-May. Adults exhibit a diurnal flight behavior associated with open areas along forests with some miscellaneous trees and herbaceous plants. Based on descriptions given by Wang and Ko (2018), the minor body sizes of
