Male genitalia of the two are characterized by a moderately short uncus, long, broad socii (extending beyond the gnathos tip), a rounded­rectangular valva, and a long, slender, curved aedeagus without cornuti (

). A short process subdistally from the venter of the gnathos arms and a moderately large, rectangular membranous region at the base of the valva appear to represent synapomorphies for the genus. Males of the two species are easily distinguished by the shape of the antenna (strongly serrate in
