Describing the species, OBERTHÜR mentioned as type locality the surroundings of Darjeeling, India (“les environs même de Darjeeling”); DESGODINS had lived in Darjeeling. But OBERTHÜR noted neither a locality named Maria Basti nor a collector named DUREL nor a calendar date of collecting.
