). The micropylar rosette has three of four petals and three micropyle pores in the observed specimens. The rest of the annular zone has cells with elongated ridges. The transition zone is wide and has polygonal cells with a rough spongy surface. The rest of the egg comprises the tubercle-aeropyle zone, with tetragonal cells which form a network in which the nodes show oval tubercles, or in the form of a ribbed tower.
