Strains MFLUCC 14-0086, MFLUCC 14-0124 and MFLUCC 15-0261 grouped with
<taxonomicName lsidName="C. boninense" pageId="18" pageNumber="41" rank="species" species="boninense">C. boninense</taxonomicName>
and MFLUCC 14-0128. All have very similar sequences as those as the ex-type of with
<taxonomicName lsidName="C. boninense" pageId="18" pageNumber="41" rank="species" species="boninense">C. boninense</taxonomicName>
(only 2bp difference), while there was 11 base pair deviations between these strains and
<taxonomicName class="Dothideomycetes" family="Botryosphaeriaceae" genus="Colletotrichum" higherTaxonomySource="CoL" kingdom="Fungi" lsidName="Colletotrichum doitungense" order="Botryosphaeriales" pageId="18" pageNumber="41" phylum="Ascomycota" rank="species" species="doitungense">Colletotrichum doitungense</taxonomicName>
sp. nov. Blastn researches with ITS sequences of them result in 100% identity with ITS sequence of endophytic
<taxonomicName lsidName="C. boninense" pageId="18" pageNumber="41" rank="species" species="boninense">C. boninense</taxonomicName>
strain SL-ML18 (GenBank KP900269) isolated from
<taxonomicName class="Lycopodiopsida" family="Lycopodiaceae" genus="Huperzia" higherTaxonomySource="CoL" kingdom="Plantae" lsidName="Huperzia serrate" order="Lycopodiales" pageId="18" pageNumber="41" phylum="Tracheophyta" rank="species" species="serrate">Huperzia serrate</taxonomicName>
in China (

<taxonomicName class="Magnoliopsida" family="Rosaceae" genus="Malus" higherTaxonomySource="CoL" kingdom="Plantae" lsidName="Malus domestica" order="Rosales" pageId="19" pageNumber="42" phylum="Tracheophyta" rank="species" species="domestica">Malus domestica</taxonomicName>
in China (

and
<taxonomicName class="Liliopsida" family="Orchidaceae" genus="Dendrobium" higherTaxonomySource="CoL" kingdom="Plantae" lsidName="Dendrobium" order="Asparagales" pageId="19" pageNumber="42" phylum="Tracheophyta" rank="genus">Dendrobium</taxonomicName>
sp. 1, stem of
<taxonomicName genus="D." lsidName="D." pageId="19" pageNumber="42" rank="genus">D.</taxonomicName>
sp. 2 respectively as
