Hymenophore odontioid, covered by irregularly arranged spines, up to 0.2 mm long, 3-5 per mm, pale red to reddish lilac when fresh, pale orange to brownish gray upon drying. Margin smooth, adnate, yellowish white, 0.5 mm wide.</paragraph>
