Whitehead, 1972: 281. Type locality: &quot;4.8 mi[les] e[ast] Sabinas Hidalgo (800'), Rio Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mex[ico]&quot; (original citation). Holotype (♂) in MCZ [# 31981]. Etymology. The specific name honors Henry Clinton Fall [1862-1939], a high school teacher in Chicago, Pomona, and Pasadena, and reputed coleopterist.
