female. Anterior ocellar setae proclinate, long, cruciate, posterior pair lost. Pedicel with circlet of short setulae. Thorax with dark yellow spots on postalar callus, upper posterior corner and posterior margin of anepisternum, katepisternum and anepimeron; scutum slightly longer than wide, narrow on anterior part, 6.2 times longer than scutellum, with few yellow setae, conspicuous setae reddish yellow. Proepisternum bearing 1 long seta on upper part, lacking setae just above fore coxa; postpronotal setae prominent; 2 notopleural setae (posterior one longer than anterior); 3 supra-alar setae; 1 very long postalar seta. Acrostichals apparently in 2 complete rows; dorsocentrals distinct from intra-alars, 2 complete rows, prescutellar seta long. Fore tarsomeres 24 bearing numerous short ventral setulae. Mid femur with numerous spinule-like ventral bristles. Mid tibia with ventral spinules.

This species is represented by a singleton, housed in SMT. Bezzis description is not clear how many exemplars he utilized, however he presents both male and female symbols. We did not localize the male, and therefore assume that it has probably been lost. Collections in the neighbourhood of the type-locality (West of
<collectingCountry id="9D969FED5611FF96FF5FFCFDFEF0F990" box="[151,207,1514,1540]" name="Peru" pageId="10" pageNumber="42">Peru</collectingCountry>
) are not extensive, but based on numerous exemplars from museums and collections in
<collectingCountry id="9D969FED5611FF96FB24FCFDFB0AF990" box="[1260,1333,1514,1540]" name="Brazil" pageId="10" pageNumber="42">Brazil</collectingCountry>
near the frontier with
<collectingCountry id="9D969FED5611FF96FEF9FF06FF55F9BF" box="[305,362,1553,1579]" name="Peru" pageId="10" pageNumber="42">Peru</collectingCountry>
, we can presume that this is a rare species, probably living only in the borders of Urubamba River.
