36 anterior rows of cerata in adults, rhinophores smooth, oral tentacles present, no anterior foot corners, cnidosacs present, pharynx moderately broad, jaws with single row of simple denticles, radular teeth narrow to moderately widened with low cusp (not considerably retracted or protracted), smaller intercalating denticles in between large ones restricted as mostly adjacent to cusp, teeth non pectinated, penis with stylet curved in different degrees.

These characters include relatively numerous anterior ceratal branches, predominantly narrow teeth with neither a considerably protracted nor retracted cusp, non-pectinate teeth without exceedingly long lateral denticles in adult state, commonly curved penial stylet. The diagnosis is somewhat amended here in order to differentiate the above listed characters and also to accommodate additional data on the
