is restricted to coniferous forests at higher elevations in the mountains of the Pacific coast of southern BC, south to the southern Sierra Nevada in CA. He mentions further field work might reveal a broader distribution and that this species is part of the Holarctic faunal element. Our records in NB lead to an apparent disjunct distribution of the species in Canada, However, it is likely with additional field work that this species will be found in the intervening areas of northern Canada.
