The coils of the male embolus might be looser (fig. 50J) or tighter (fig. 50G), the two coils might be subequal in size (fig. 50E), and the embolus might be downward directed (fig. 50F). The shape of the spermathecae and the sclerotized bars varies as well (fig. 52).
