This species is known from the Far East (Bousquet and
<normalizedToken id="0DBDCBC04787AA56F22BBC1A3B42A05E" originalValue="Barševskis">Barsevskis</normalizedToken>
2003: 96) and from Alaska (Lindroth 1961a: 97) to Newfoundland (Lindroth 1955a: 36); isolated on some mountains of New England (Lindroth 1961a: 96-97) and New York (Essex County, CNC, MCZ), and also known from northern Wyoming (Johnson County, CMNH). Fossil remnants of this species, dated between about 16,700 and 18,100 years B.P., have been unearthed in southeastern Iowa (Baker et al. 1986: 96).
