The Greek term

means forked and refers to the spines on the aedeagus, which are all bifurcated.

Vertex light brown near basal emargination, mid brown apically. Face mid brown, carinae concolorous, except for pale lateral carinae of frons. Pronotum light brown, mesonotum mid to dark brown. Forewings hyaline colourless with numerous light brown patches; veins and tubercles concolorous with cells; apical parts of veins near pterostigma darkened; pterostigma light brown. Legs light brown, femora slightly darker.
