Integument mostly brown; pedicel reddish brown; about basal 2/3 of antennomere III reddish brown, brown on remaining surface (darker ventrally); antennomere IV reddish brown on entire basal area, irregularly brown on remaining surface; antennomeres V–VII orangish brown on basal 2/3, slightly darkened on posterior third; antennomeres VIII–X orangish brown on basal third, gradually brown toward apex; antennomere XI orangish brown basally, gradually brown on remaining surface; mouthparts reddish brown, except yellowish apex of palpomeres; anteclypeus reddish brown; posterior 2/3 of labrum reddish brown, brown on anterior third; elytra gradually dark reddish brown toward apex; femora mostly dark brown, with base and irregular areas reddish brown; tibiae dark reddish brown on basal quarter, brown on remaining surface.

Frons with yellowish-brown pubescence centrally, obscuring integument, gradually brownish toward sides and vertex. Area between antennal tubercles and base of upper eye lobes with elliptical, tumid region centrally, surrounded laterally by narrow, but distinct sulcus; with yellowish-brown pubescence nearly obscuring integument on anterior and posterior areas of tumid region, more brownish centrally, nearly glabrous inside sulci. Remaining surface of vertex with somewhat distinctly inverted Y-shaped yellowish-brown pubescent band centrally, from tumid region to prothoracic margin (behind superior area of upper eye lobes), dense, more yellow close to upper eye lobes, more brownish, not obscuring integument on remaining surface (sparser centrally close to prothoracic margin). Remaining surface behind eyes with moderately dense yellowish-brown pubescence, slightly sparser centrally toward inferior area. Genae with dense yellowish-brown pubescence, except glabrous apex. Antennal tubercles with brownish pubescence obscuring integument. Postclypeus with pale yellow pubescence obscuring integument, except glabrous sides and narrow area close to anteclypeus; anterior margin with fringe of nearly golden setae. Labrum with minute brownish pubescence on posterior half, not obscuring integument, with golden, moderately short setae on anterior half; with a few long, erect brownish setae laterally. Gulamentum glabrous on wide posterior area, with pale yellow pubescence on narrow anterior area, not obscuring integument. Distance between upper eye lobes 0.40 times length of scape (0.22 times distance between outer margins of eyes); in frontal view, distance between lower eye lobes 0.89 times length of scape (0.59 times distance between outer margins of eyes). Antennae 2.0 times elytral length, reaching elytral apex at base of antennomere VIII. Scape with yellowish-brown pubescence obscuring integument; pedicel and antennomeres with pubescence not obscuring integument, yellowish on light area, more brownish on dark area; antennomeres III–X with sparse, long, erect dark setae ventrally (sparser and shorter toward X). Antennal formula (ratio) based on length of antennomere III: scape = 0.70; pedicel = 0.15; IV = 1.25; V = 0.86; VI = 0.84; VII = 0.81; VIII = 0.73; IX = 0.72; X = 0.65; XI = 0.78.

Pronotum with six longitudinal brownish pubescent bands, one straight on each side of central area of anterior third, one on each side of central area of posterior quarter (acuminate toward anterior area), one sinuous on each side, from slightly before middle to middle of posterior constriction; remaining anterior quarter mostly with yellowish-brown pubescence partially obscuring integument, and remaining surface with dense, yellowish pubescence (more yellow, slightly longer toward posterior margin). Sides of prothorax with dense yellowish pubescence close to pronotum, gradually sparser toward prosternum. Prosternum with yellow pubescence not obscuring integument, slightly denser, bristly on prosternal process. Ventral surface of meso-and metathorax with yellow pubescence, denser laterally. Scutellum with short, sparse brownish pubescence basally, dense, longer, yellow on remaining surface. 
<emphasis id="8CC9EA8A0233CF162B7FF9ACE0E9FC74" bold="true" box="[342,426,1594,1620]" pageId="3" pageNumber="564">Elytra.</emphasis>
Coarsely, moderately abundantly punctate on anterior third, gradually finer, sparser toward middle, distinctly sparser from middle to posterior quarter, nearly impunctate on posterior quarter; base with dense yellow pubescence between humerus and scutellum, brownish on circum-scutellar area, slightly yellowish-brown between centrobasal crests, except longitudinal brownish pubescent band on each side, connected to circum-scutellar area; sides of anterior third with brownish pubescence partially obscuring integument; top of centrobasal crests with fringe of dark setae; central area between apex of anterior third and base of posterior quarter with longitudinal, both white and brown pubescent bands, and pale yellow pubescence among them; posterior quarter with two longitudinal brown pubescent bands, one close to suture another laterally, and remaining surface with yellowish pubescence.

Femora with yellowish-brown pubescence not obscuring integument, paler on metafemora, with long, decumbent whitish setae interspersed on metafemora. Tibiae with yellowish pubescence anteriorly, gradually yellowish-brown toward apex, with long, decumbent whitish setae interspersed (more conspicuous on metafemora, and more yellowish toward apex).
