Head capsule black; ventral mouthparts light brown except yellowish-brown lacinia and palpi yellowish brown with brownish apex; postclypeus mostly brown; anteclypeus dark brown laterally and anteriorly, light brown on remaining surface; labrum dark orangish brown; antennae dark brown on basal segments, gradually brown toward antennomere XI. Prothorax orangish, except wide, transverse black band close to anterior margin of pronotum, narrow, transverse dark-brown band close to anterior margin laterally, and moderately wide, transverse brown band close to anterior margin on prosternum. Ventral surface of meso- and metathorax orangish. Scutellum orangish. Elytra mostly orangish brown anteriorly, gradually darkening to brownish toward apex, punctures darker. Membranous wings brown, gradually becoming dark brown toward apex, except large rectangular yellow macula longitudinally about middle of sides. Pro- and mesocoxae orangish; metacoxae blackish; trochanters mostly dark brown; femora dark brown, except brown apical third of mesofemora and irregular dark orangish-brown apex of metafemora; pro- and mesotibiae dark brown; metatibiae dark brown basally and apically, yellowish brown on remaining surface; tarsi brown. Abdominal ventrites reddish brown, with irregular yellowish-brown and orangish-brown areas interspersed.

Frons finely, abundantly punctate; with dense yellowish-brown pubescence, except glabrous median groove, sparse yellowish-brown pubescence centrally close to clypeus, glabrous inferior area close to eyes, and mostly whitish pubescence close to superior half of eyes and glabrous area close to eyes. Vertex moderately sparsely and coarsely punctate; with dense, short black pubescence, except glabrous median groove and area close to prothorax. Area behind upper eye lobes with sculpturing as on vertex; with dense blackish pubescence close to vertex, glabrous on remaining surface.Area behind lower eye lobes smooth close to eye on superior half, moderately abundantly, finely punctate close to eye on inferior half, rugose-punctate on remaining surface; glabrous, except sparse yellowish-white pubescence and a few moderately long, erect white setae close to eye on inferior half. Genae distinctly shorter than lower eye lobe; with sparse whitish pubescence except glabrous apex. Postclypeus with sparse, somewhat bristly whitish pubescence, with a few long, erect yellowish-brown setae interspersed, except glabrous apex of sides. Anteclypeus with anterior and lateral margins elevated, glabrous. Labrum with long, erect yellowish-white setae not obscuring integument, setae more abundant laterally, and fringe of yellowish-brown setae on anterior margin. Antennal tubercles sparsely, finely punctate, except smooth apex; with a few short, decumbent yellowish setae, except glabrous apex. Gulamentum moderately abundantly and finely punctate on anterior third, transversely striate about central region, smooth on remaining surface; with a few setae on punctate area, glabrous on remaining surface. Distance between upper eye lobes 0.43 times distance between outer margins of eyes; in frontal view, distance between lower eye lobes 0.43 times distance between outer margins of eyes. Antennae 2.5 times elytral length, reaching elytral apex at apex of antennomere VI. Scape sparsely, moderately coarsely punctate; with sparse dark-brown pubescence on basal half; with suberect, both short and long yellowish setae interspersed dorsally, and long, erect dark-brown setae interspersed throughout. Remaining segments with minute brown pubescence, denser from antennomere IV; pedicel and antennomeres III–IV with sparse, erect dark-brown setae dorsally; pedicel and antennomeres III–VII with long, erect dark-brown setae ventrally, setae gradually sparser toward VII. Antennal formula (ratio) based on length of antennomere III: scape = 0.64; pedicel = 0.26; IV = 0.57; V = 0.92; VI = 1.01; VII = 0.89; VIII = 0.79; IX = 0.72; X = 0.67; XI = 0.74.

Pronotum abundantly, finely punctate except smooth tubercles; with minute, erect yellowish-white pubescence not obscuring integument, absent on smooth areas, except dark-brown pubescence on dark anterior area; with long, erect yellowish-white setae interspersed. Sides of prothorax abundantly, finely punctate; with minute, erect yellowish-white pubescence not obscuring integument, and long, erect setae of same color interspersed. Posterior 2/3 of prosternum abundantly, moderately finely punctate; with abundant yellowish-white pubescence not obscuring integument; anterior third, smooth, glabrous, shiny. Narrowest area of prosternal process about 0.15 times procoxal width. Ventral surface of meso- and metathorax with whitish pubescence not obscuring integument, except dense pubescence close to metacoxae; metanepisterna and metaventrite with long, erect pale-yellow setae interspersed. Narrowest area of mesoventral process 0.58 times mesocoxal width. Scutellum with sparse whitish pubescence, except dense pubescence close to apical margin.

Almost reaching apex of first abdominal segment, longer than twice humeral width; moderately abundantly, coarsely punctate; with wide, dorsally rounded carina from humeri to near apex; with sparse, both short and long, erect yellowish-white setae, long setae more abundant dorsally close to anterior region of suture.
