Eye small, postocular distance large. Anterior clypeal margin rounded. Mandible triangular, with 5 teeth, apical tooth largest. Antenna with 12 segments, the apical 3 segments forming a club; scape short, not reaching posterior margin of head. Dorsal outline of pronotum broadly rounded and mesonotal area depressed. Promesonotal groove absent. Metanotal groove deep. Propodeal spines reduced to obtusely-angled corners. Petiole with a long peduncle. Petiole very narrow, less than half as wide as postpetiole, much higher than wide. Petiole node with small and very shining dorsal surface that is almost circular in dorsal view. Postpetiole less than twice as wide as long, lower than petiole. First gaster tergite longer than following gaster tergites.</paragraph>

Clypeus and anterior area of vertex (about 60% of total vertex surface) longitudinally carinulate-rugulose; strongest rugae mediofrontally of eyes. Interspaces between rugae relatively smooth, foveolae completely absent; tiny pits wellvisible on perfectly smooth posterior 40% of vertex surface. Mesosoma in overall impression shining, ventrolateral area of pronotum, whole mesonotum, ventrolateral area of propodeum, mesopleurae and metapleurae to a varying degree ©

, 39(3): 455458 longitudinally rugulose with shining interspaces; the strongest rugae on meso- and metapleurae. Petiole, postpetiole and gaster tergites smooth and shining. Head, mesosoma, petiole and postpetiole with more profuse pubescence. Frontal and dorsolateral areas of pronotum and propodeum dorsally glabrous gaster pubescence longer than in related species, each gaster tergites posterior margin with long pubescence.
