The largest specimen in the lot (107 mm) has an almost fully-developed pereopod 7 which indicates that the adult would not be too much larger in size. This, along with the presence of setae between the pleotelson spines, suggest that this species belongs to the
<normalizedToken id="9264562707680709F7F2C326C901B8CB" originalValue="“giant”">&quot;giant&quot;</normalizedToken>
group. The number of spines on the posterior margin of the pleotelson ranges between 5+2, 7+2 and 9+2.
