COMMENTS: Mathews cited his catalog number of the

in the original description, but mentioned no other specimens. According to his catalog, the
<typeStatus id="7C5488149E7FFFB7FD947750FD7B152D" box="[551,653,842,864]" pageId="123" pageNumber="123" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
was obtained by Mathews from WAM. It was part of the collection made by J.T. Tunney in 19011903 and reported on by

. The collection was divided between Rothschild and WAM, with a subset sent to BMNH (Hartert: 1905a: 194). Mathews specimen bears the number 1025, which is Tunneys field number (see
