COMMENTS: In the original description, van Someren said that his type was a male collected on
<date box="[281,439,1114,1135]" pageId="63" pageNumber="63" value="1918-06-17">17 June 1918</date>
at Mbuyuni and that he had five male and three female specimens. Four specimens of
<emphasis box="[553,654,1173,1194]" italics="true" pageId="63" pageNumber="63">taruensis</emphasis>
came to AMNH in addition to the type. The following two specimens are
