Head black on posterior margin, otherwise brownish yellow, pronotum yellow or reddish and usually with a pair of black spots, spots often fused into a single mark with a median emargination or sometimes posterior margin blackish; elytra orange-yellow with 13 black spots arranged in a 1-3-2-1/2 pattern or elytral pattern variable, posterior two-thirds of elytra black and anterior portion yellowish or reddish, with or without humeral black spots (

). Length 6.67.4 mm, width 6.36.8 mm; body shape round and strongly convex. Head posteriorly never reaching eye orbits; eyes small and minute facets; ligula anteriorly deeply notched; submentum short, slightly notched anteriorly. Prosternal process with carinae narrower anteriorly, distally rounded-oval, reaching middle of prosternum; scuto-scutellar suture straight. Postcoxal line not reaching posterior margin of first sternite; last sternite covered with small setae.
