Cephalon with anterolateral and antennal teeth low; rostrum basally wider than long, anterior margin straight. Eyes reniform. Red-brown scattered reticulation on cephalon and pereonites, and over most of dorsum of pleotelson. Pereopod 1 of male, setose carpus produced posterodistally into broadly rounded lobe reaching midlength of posterior margin of propodus; latter longer than wide, strongly setose on mesial surface, with robust seta demarcating palm, latter having ve triangular teeth; dactylus having about 19 small setae on cutting margin. Operculum of female roughly pentagonal, about 1.6 times longer than basal width.
