<paragraph blockId="22.[130,776,885,1166]" pageId="22" pageNumber="513">Shell subsphaerical to subtriangular with slightly inflated outline, convex sides and three primary spines. Shell spongy consisting of numerous concentric layers and many small, polygonal pore frames with subcircular pores. Primary spines long, usually one of them longer than two others, needle-like, tapering gradually distally and terminated with pointed ends. Length of primary spines about equal to diameter of shell or slightly shorter.</paragraph>
