Body somewhat parallel-sided, significantly flattened. Head and abdomen brown; pronotum reddishbrown; antennomeres 611, elytra (scutellar and apical portions slightly darker) and sometimes apical margins and intersegmental membranes of abdominal tergites 36 yellow-brown; mouthparts, antennomeres 15 and legs yellow. Middle portion of head with several sparse, irregular, fine punctures; pronotum with regular, fine punctation, sparser in medioapical portion and along midline; scutellum without punctures; elytra with punctation similar to that in pronotum, but slightly deeper and denser, smooth in apical and lateral portions; abdomen without or with very indistinct and sparse fine punctures. Head with dense, irregular and relatively coarse microsculpture: transverse in frontal, diagonal in middle and longitudinal in lateral portions; neck without microsculpture in middle, with isodiametric meshes in lateral portions; pronotum with dense, longitudinal microsculpture as that in head; scutellum without or with indistinct isodiametric microreticulation; elytra with longitudinal and diagonal microsculpture, denser and coarser than that in pronotum; abdomen with irregular, dense and coarse, transverse and isodiametric sculpture, markedly coarser on abdominal tergite VII. Neck separated from head by distinct, narrow and deep constriction. Maxillary palpi moderately long; preapical palpomere swollen, slightly longer than wide; apical palpomere narrow, realtively parallel-sided, with conical apex, about 1.3 times as long as preceding palpomere. Antennae short, reaching apical third of pronotum when reclined; basal antennomere suboval, about twice as long as 2, antennomere 2 small, indistinctly longer than wide, 3 narrower, about as long as 2, 4 very small, transverse, 5 markedly wider than 4, twice wider than long, antennomeres 510 progressively widened apicad, distinctly transverse and covered by dense pubescence, apical antennomere wide, oval, about twice as long as 10.</paragraph>
