Distinguished from other fulvitarsis species group taxa by the following characters: basal, subapical, and apical orangish marks on elytra (although reduced), short metasternum, greatly reduced wings, entirely dark pronotum, distinctly punctate elytral striae, and basal elytral band reduced to zigzag mark.
