This is a monotypic genus restricted to tropical Africa. When he described it,

recognised that it is closely allied to

The early stages, particularly the pupa and its shelter support this view; there are also similarities in the caterpillars, although the head markings are rather different. MJWCs food plant record of a climbing grass in
