Externally, this new species can be easily distinguished from all other

</taxonomicName>
by the dark color of adults: the entire body is covered either with brown-grey or black scales, which is very unusual for the genus and uncommon for the family in general. In the male genitalia, the combination of a distinct uncus with very short dorsal lobes (
