fauna was concerned) as including species which had: (i) numerous 10-locular pregenital disc-pores across all abdominal segments; (ii) two
<typeStatus id="54B6885DFFB1FFFBE00B2FB279F348F4" box="[594,653,152,176]" pageId="8" pageNumber="9">types</typeStatus>
of ventral tubular duct, with the larger duct in a submarginal band and the small duct medially on posterior abdominal segments; (iii) abundant spinose marginal setae; (iv) reticulation setae (those on margin where reticulation lines meet margin) often clearly differentiated; (v) with long setae on 2 or 3 pregenital segments; (vi) generally with 2 or 3 pairs of anterior anogential fold setae; (vii) generally with 1 or more simple pores laterad to anal plates, and (viii) test tending to be highly convex, stout and glassy. The test is composed of polygonal glassy plates in either 5 or 7 longitudinal bands, those medially the largest.

The new species described below is very similar to those from

but has only 1 size of ventral tubular duct.
